domain parking business

when I was searching online I found this great article at pdf-ebooks and I thought it is worth sharing
Domain parking is the simple concept of taking a domain that you own, placing it on a host, and
creating a website filled with ads. If a person happens to "stumble-upon" the website, there will
be related content (to the domain name) that may lead them to what they are looking for. This
is so much better than creating a silly page that says "Under Construction" or "Temporarily Not
Available". Some domain companies godaddy will place their own parked page
on the domain name if you are not using it (AND MAKE MONEY FOR THEMSELVES!).
So, is it worth going out and spending $4 per month on a host, then create a simple landing
page and wait for the earnings? Well, probably not. It seems like a lot of wasted money and
effort to create something that may not really produce any income whatsoever. (Remember,
you still need traffic to make money!).
The simplest solution is to find a parking company. The concept is simple: You point your
domain to the parking company, they create and host a landing page full of ads related to your
domain name. What do they get out of this? Simple! They get a percentage of the advertising
revenue (usually between 10%-40%). This is a win-win situation for everyone! You make
money and do virtually nothing! No risk, no upfront costs, no maintenance! They win because
they can simplify the hosting and development cost due to the large volume of users. Plus, it is
in their best interest to build you the best parked site as possible. Many of these parked
services offer optimization and testing to achieve the highest earnings.
So, if you have domains right now that are being under-utilized, go and sign up for a parked
service immediately! It will take about 15 minutes (no joke!). For those of you that are thinking:
"I wonder if I can make money buying high traffic domains and just parking it?"
